I appreciate the idea of reclaiming "religion" as a term in the time of "spiritual but not religious." I've taken this on myself and find it to be a meaningful personal distinction.
I'm glad to hear it! I used to really struggle with the term "religious", until I started studying ancient cultures and realised it is just a term that denotes an understanding of sacrality. But I do think it transmits more rigour than "spiritual" possibly can in our age...

And the deeper I delve into this subject, the more I feel the tension between clashing beliefs and opinions, or though formations that begin one way as I start a sentence, and then change before I get to the end! No doubt a living, animate force that I'm having to keep up with!
